Altar

Last week, Mary created this lovely altar on our woodstove. The plaster Venus de Milo statue belonged to my great-aunt and uncle, well-known painters who used it in many of their paintings and drawings throughout the 20th century. This way, at least, the Buddha is in very illustrious company.
